Arrow Exterminators Pledges a Continued Donation to The Hands United Foundation
Arrow Commits $25,000 in Donation Money to Benefit GPCA Nonprofit
Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators recently announced their pledged donation to The Hands United Foundation that was created by the Georgia Pest Control Association (GPCA) in 2017. Arrow has committed to donate $5,000 each year for the next five years, to equal $25,000, in order to benefit families of the GPCA, the Certified Control Operators of Georgia, and the general Georgia pest control industry that have been affected by catastrophic or life changing events.
Brett Craig and Pasha Simpson, two of Arrow’s team members, have been hard at work ensuring the success and outreach for this notable cause. In early July, the duo hosted a Hands United Foundation Celebration where they raised money through games, food, and providing a great location for the 4th of July fireworks in Woodstock, GA. Through this fundraiser they were able to raise over $500 worth of donation money. Along with this event, Arrow Exterminators has also supported the foundation by sponsoring a golf tournament hosted by GPCA, where a portion of the proceeds benefitted this admirable cause.
“To me this is a wonderful opportunity to help our friends and peers in a time of need,” says Arrow University Training Manager Brett Craig. “You never can plan for a life event but with Hands United, we can help serve families in our industry and community at any moment. I am proud that all of us at Arrow Exterminators and the GPCA leadership have come up with this program.”
Emily Thomas Kendrick, CEO & President of Arrow Exterminators, added, “I am beyond delighted to have Arrow be a part of such a great cause and organization. We are so thankful for the opportunity to donate to a foundation that helps families when they need it most.”
Arrow Exterminators fully believes in their core value of community. While their expertise is providing healthier home environments, they realize that their continued success also plays an important role in helping fuel healthy hometown economies. Pasha Simpson, Director of Inside Sales, expands on the topic of community, “I’m very passionate about helping and giving back to our local community. Being involved with Hands United fosters this passion to give back to our pest control family. I have enjoyed our initial involvement with this cause that is so near and dear to our hearts and I look forward to growing this relationship for years to come.”
